Local Woman Expires Friday, Rites Monday
Mrs. Hazel McCord, 76, Anderson, died Friday at the Community Hospital after an illness of two years. She was born in Anderson, Dec 24, 1894, the daughter of Charles and Catherine Stohler. She was a member of the Holiness Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dollie Stout and Mrs. Clinton (Myrtle) Norris both of Anderson, two sons, Virgil McCord, Wabash and William Frank Russell of Ingalls, a brother, Edward Stohler of Anderson, 22 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Brown and Butz Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral rites will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the mortuary. Rev. Lloyce Webb, of the Gospel Light Chapel officiating. Burial will be made in Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
