McMinn Dodson and wife Sarah D. Cunningham were Oregon wagon train pioneers. They travelled from Tennessee to Independence, MO and overwintered. They crossed the country and arrived in Oregon in September of 1853. They took out Donation Land Claims in Northern Polk County. He was a farmer and ran for political office. Sarah was a Doctor.
