Goldie Pearl Ketchum, 96, of Centralia died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from noon until services Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ketchum was born July 20, 1904, to Willard and Minnie Robinson Cook. She married Ewin Ketchum on September 28, 1919, and he preceded her in death. She was a cook at Glenview Drug and Smiley's Café in Columbia for several years. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal. Survivors include two sons, Archie Ketchum of Paris, Mo., and William Ketchum of Hallsville; a sister, Pauline Maiden of Centralia; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Lula Mae Hirner and Anna Miller; four brothers, Harold Cook, Maurice Cook, Marvin Cook and Edwin Cook; a sister, Opal Parks; and a great-granddaughter.
