cecil died in dodge city march 5 1947 he spent his entire life at home with his parents he attended offerle grade and high schools. his illness was brief being ill but two weeks he was concious all the time through his illness . he took pleasure the last day of his life to comment on the cards and flowers he had recieved at he time of his passing he was a member of the first regiment of the kansas state guard
