Vilate Meeks Whitney, 93, of Springville passed away November 19, 2004 of heart failure. She was born in Mt.Carmel, Utah on May 17, 1911 to Alfred Randall Meeks and Malinda Vilate Covington. She married Frank Johnson Whitney, he preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons and two daughters: Mardean, Garth, Ranell, Charlene and Leanne. Funeral service held November 24, 2004 with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
