Mrs Mary Caulson, 2113 Wayne Ave, died at State Hospital Friday after a brief illness. She is the mother of a brother in the Passionist Order and two Immaculate Heart of Mary nuns. She was a lifelong resident of Dunmore, daughter of the late John and Catherine Burke. Her husband, Charles, died in 1949. She was a member of St Mary of Mt Carmel, Dunmore, and its Altar and Rosary Society and the convent guild. She is survived by four sons, Brother Ronan, CP, Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk, NY; John, Niagara Falls, NY; and Frank and Thomas, Dunmore; three daughters, Sister Mary Laetitia, Marywood Motherhouse; Sister Mary Annchen, St Rita's Convent, Dundalk, MD; and Mrs Eugene McHale, with whom she resided; three sisters, Mrs William Henning, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs Michael Conway, Dunmore; and Mrs Michael McCarthy, NJ; 20 grandchildren, one of whom is Sister Mary Ronan, IHM; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
