A childhood friend of mine...

His friends knew him as "Blob"... a play on his name combined with the amount of hair he had. I've never seen so much hair on one person in my life. He had long... really big hair.

Bob was a junior at Eisenhower High School in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Bob was riding in the back of a pick up truck after drinking the night of July 20, 1977. He fell out, and when the driver and passenger inside the truck noticed he was gone, they turned around and went back to find him. They found him in the road, in the path of an oncoming vehicle. They tried to flag the vehicle down, but were unsuccessful. The vehicle ran Blob over and dragged him for a quarter of a mile, and then sped off. Bob was still alive, and taken to New Berlin Hospital. He was then transferred to County General Hospital in Milwaukee for surgery the following Thursday morning. Bob died on Sunday, August 14, 1977.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Lois (Zikmund) Milonczyk; his brother and sisters, Patricia, Suzan, Christine, and Steven; and his grandparents, Sophie Milonczyk and Laurette Zikmund.

Burial: August 18, 1977
