Mr Carol John Burns-A native and lifelong resident of Mobile died at a local hospital Sunday, October 22, 1978 at 10:35 a.m. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Fay Barrier Burns; one daughter, Mrs. David (Brenda) Norton; five sons, John C Burns Jr., Donald Burns, David Burns, Chesley Burns, Keith Burns; two sister, Mrs. Jack (Genevive) Cox and Mrs Berntina Fail; four brothers, Gerald Burns, Robert Burns, William Burns, Bernard Burns; three grandchildren, all of Mobile; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St Monica Catholic Church on Tuesday, october 24, 1978 at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, the rosary will be said at 7:00 on Monday. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Belmany Funeral Home, 100 South Beltline Highway, Mobile, Alabama.
