From the Bedford Gazette, January 25, 1901 (Page 4): Mrs. Ann Hafer, widow of Wilson E. Hafer, died on January 21, aged eighty-six years, eleven months and sixteen days. Her remains will be laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery today. She was the mother of fourteen children. Several are dead. George lives in Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Theodore Hite at Scottdale; Mrs. Tillie Ayers at Claysburg; Frederick and Andrew L. in the valley, and Wilson E. Hafer in Craig-Head County, Ark.
