Married to Eva Mae Bogard, father of Edward M. Bogard Sr., and Fuller Bogard. John was my grandfather. He died several years before I was born.
John was 60 years old when he died. My father, Edward, was doing some trim painting on his parent's house. He was on a ladder to the second floor painting the trim of a window to the master bedroom. John was talking to him through the window. My dad asked his father a question and when he got no response, he looked in the window to find that John had stepped back, fell on the bed and died of a heart attack.
