Esther Marie Schaefer Koss , 95, of Hopkins, died of natural causes Friday July 2, 2004.
Esther was born Nov. 17, 1908, in Nicollet, Minn.
She married Frank R. Koss on Aug. 20, 1938. Frank preceded her in death in 1982. She and Frank raised two boys, John and James. Esther worked alongside her husband Frank at Koss Paint and Wallpaper In Hopkins, Minn., until she retired in 1978. After retirement, Esther was active in the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society in Hopkins. Esther has been a resident of St. Therese S,W. in Hopkins since June 1998, and more recently Hillcrest Care Center in Wayzata.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, John and Rita, James and Mary; grandsons, Paul, Mark and Michael.
Mass of Christian Burial will be hold 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, with visitation one hour before at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1310 Main Street, Hopkins.
A reception will follow the mass at St. Joseph.
Private interment in St. Margaret Cemetery, Minnetonka.
