Minerva Williams was born June 7, 1814 in Greene County, Pa. While but a young girl she united with the Baptist Congregation at Graysville, Pa. On August 8, 1832, She was united in marriage with Thomas Adamson. From this union four sons were born.
In 1884 she, with her husband came to Kansas. Her husband died in 1885. Since which time she has earnestly wished to join him, finally called to the other side June 21, 1903, after many years of suffering.
Funeral service conducted by Rev. E. L. Barbe, at the home of her son Ben Adamson, Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. A large number of friends attended. She was buried in the Lincoln Cemetery.
