Maggie Jane Allen
Mrs. Odie M. Allen, 81, 309 St. Joseph St., died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1965, at the home of her son, Roy Allen, of Hartsburg, MO.
She was the former Maggie Jane Mockbee, born Oct. 24, 1884, in Callaway County to John and Alice Johnson Mockbee.
She was married to Odie M. Allen March 25, 1908, in Columbia. He preceded her in death in January this year.
She was a member of Hickory Grove Christian Church.
In addition to her son in Hartsburg, other survivors include another son, Wallace Allen of Mexico, Mo.; a daughter, Eva Lee Allen, 1609 Paris Road; a sister, Mrs. John Gilbert, Centralia; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Barnes of Fayette officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The body will be at Memorial until time for burial.
