Death Comes To Herbert Cameron
Burr-(N-P)- Funeral services for Herbert J. Cameron, 57, Burr farmer who died Sunday morning at his home, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
Rev. C. H. Rumbaugh will officiate and burial will be at the Hopewell cemetery. Pallbearers: Arthur Maller, Fred Damme, Arnold Watermeier, Elmer Moss, Walter Vohs and A. O. Walch.
MR. Cameron died of a heart attack. He was born February 28, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cameron. On December 20, 1920, he married Emma Holscher. He has farmed in the Burr community all of his life.
Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Denzel Carper, Syracuse and Miss Irma Cameron, Burr; and four grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Carrie Rodgers, Unadilla, and two brothers, Oliver and Carl Cameron of Burr.
He was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
Tonsing and Son are in charge. The family suggests memorials to the Hopewell church.
