Larissa "Ris" M. MacDonald, 50, of Claymont, Del., died April 17 at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Del.
Born in Chester, she grew up in the Ogden section of Upper Chichester and was a resident of the Linwood section of Lower Chichester before moving to Claymont. She was a 1978 graduate of Chichester High School.
Mrs. MacDonald worked at the UPS Store in Greenville, Del. before becoming ill more than two years ago. She was formerly employed at Marcus Hook Florist.
Mrs. MacDonald was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Claymont. She enjoyed her dog, long rides with her husband on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and baking. Mrs. MacDonald was known for her apple pie. She was the daughter of the late George Mathews.
Survivors: Husband, Kenneth A. MacDonald Jr.; son, Kenneth A. MacDonald III of Claymont; mother, Elsa Mathews of Trainer; sisters, Ramona McMahon of Downingtown, Chester County, Faith Coggin of Palmetto, Ga.; brother, George Mathews of Trainer; nieces; nephews.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Upper Chichester.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, 8:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday, Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Bethel.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Lower Chichester.
