Born to Charles and Winnie Reel, the oldest of nine children of that marriage. Raised on the ranch near Cataldo, Kootenai Co.Idaho. Ted worked as a miner for various mining companys, His last worked as miner for the Galena Mine, near Silverton, ID. However, he loved working in the woods and he and wife, Edith, had a logging CO "Reel Logging". He married Mary Ellen Finlay, July 31 1943 in Superior Montana. Married Edith Morgan Jan. 1963. He Died doing what he loved; logging.
