Glenn Johnson, 84, RFD 3, died Thursday at his home after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 12, 1885 in Liberty township, a son of William and Alice (Hineline) Johnson. He married Mabel Ashton, who survives.
He was engaged in farming, except for six years when he was an engineer for the Rock Island railroad.
Surviving besides the widow are a brother, Paul, RFD 5; and a niece, Mrs. Lawrence Rigg, who resided with Johnson. Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew Funeral Home with the the Rev. L. E. Myers officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
