Dorothy Benson Marshall died March 16, 1995 in Sandy, Utah of cancer.

Born January 18, 1917 in Magna, Utah, daughter of John Hilmer and Ellen Maria Harkness Benson. Graduated from Cyprus High School. Married James Robert Marshall, May, 1940; marriage later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. She worked for many years operating two nursing homes in Salt Lake. Served in many callings in the LDS Church in both Sunday School and Primary and helped her husband in the scouting program as well.

The family wishes to thank Diana and Christian Lucas and Peggy Comstock for their love and support.

Survived by her husband, James; son, Larry; brothers, Earl (Mary Lou) Benson and Dean (Joan) Benson; sisters, Ellen Clark, Beth (Arnold) Beckstead and Jo Chambers. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Vivian Bawden; and brother, Elmer Benson.

Services will be held Monday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
