Private graveside services for Beulah G. Westbrook, 83, will be this afternoon at Hanover Cemetery, with Miss Westbrook's nephew, Gary Westbrook, and her great-nephew, Jeremy Westbrook, officiating.
Miss Westbrook died Wednesday morning, Jan. 17, 2007, at Newark Healthcare Centre.
Born May 22, 1923, in Hanover Township, Licking County, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Gladys L. (Lake) Westbrook and was a 1941 graduate of Hanover High School. She retired in 1985 from the assembly department of the Holophane Corp. of Newark. Miss Westbrook was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church of Newark.
Surviving are one sister, Ruth Ann (Dan) Farmer, of Nashport; her lifelong special friend, Elsie Ulrich, of Newark; two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Westbrook and Lea Westbrook, both of Nashport; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and her huge frog collection.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale, Harold and Ivan Westbrook; and a sister in-law, Nancy Westbrook.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, OH 43055.
