Mr. Westbrook a lifetime farmer and owner-operator of the Hanover Farmers Exchange since 1985 died Friday January 30, 2004 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1941 in Nashport to the late Frank and Gladys (Lake) Westbrook. He actively supported youth agricultural projects through the FFA and Hartford Fair. He was a former member of the FFA Alumni Association and the Licking County Cattlemen's Association. A great pleasure of his life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lea (Wells) Westbrook, whom he married March 9, 1963; three sons, Sonny (Shawna) Westbrook of Newark, David (Nicole) Westbrook of Nashport, Brad (Natosha) Westbrook of Nashport; five grandchildren, Jason, Lauren, Danielle, Emily, Benjamin; sisters, Beulah Westbrook of Newark, Ruth Ann (Danny) Farmer of Nashport; brother, Harold Westbrook of Newark; sister-in-law, Marjorie Westbrook of Nashport; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Dale Westbrook.
Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
