MRS. STADLER BURIAL IN FINEY CEMETERY
Funeral services for Mrs. Lelia Stadler were held at 2:00 pm., Oct. 19, at the Finey Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh Sperry officiating. The church choir sang favorite hymns. Casket bearers were Edwin E. Stadler, Henry Schmidli. Melvin Mantonya, Daniel Stadler, Dennis Vannatta and Wilbur Gavlord. Interment was in Finey Cemetery under the direction of Schuberg Funeral Service. Lelia Armstrong daughter of Alvin and Mary Jane Lvon Armstrong, was born in St. Clair County, Mo., June 30, 1883. She died at Wetzel Hospital, Oct. 17, after many years illness. She was one of a family of 11 children, six brothers and four sisters preceding her in death. On Dec. 8, 1901, she married Daniel S. Stadler, who preceded her in death Julv 15, 1943. Their entire married life was spent in Henrv and Benton Counties. Shortly after the death of her husband Mrs. Stadler and her daughter, Bernice, moved to Clinton and this since had been her home. In 1927 she became a member of the Baptist Church at Finey where her membership remained until her death. Mrs. Stadler was a kind and devoted mother and her interests centered in her home and loved ones. Survivors include her four children Ray C. Stadler, Mrs. Opal Wallen. Brownington: Miss Bernice Stadler. of the home, Mrs. Paul Vannatta, Sedalia; seven Grandchildren and 13 great grand children; many other relatives and friends.
