Ruth Jane Morrison Heatherdale, 82, Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville, formerly of Montmorenci Road, Ridgway, died Saturday at the Brookville Hospital in Brookville.
Born July 29, 1924, in Snyder Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Effie O'Harrow Morrison. She was married to Samuel J. Heatherdale in 1946. He preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1993.
She was a graduate of Snyder Township School Class of 1942. She worked at Quality Components in Daguscahonda for 35 years and retired in 1989. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, mowing her lawn and golfing.
She is survived by three sisters: LaRue Morrison Podmore of Treasure Lake, DuBois; Bonnie Siple of Brockway and Jean Keys of Hazen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Dale, Perry and Les Morrison; and two sisters, Willena Mae Denworth and Glendora Forsyth.

HEATHERDALE: Ruth Jane Morrison, Laurelbrooke Landing, Brookville, died June 2, 2007. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home Inc. in Ridgway. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry L. Felt officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway. Memorial donations may be made to Laurelbrooke Assisted Living, 133 Laurelbrooke Lane, Brookville, PA 15825.
