John Corak, 84, passed away May 27, 1995. He was born April 6, 1911, in Midvale, Utah, to Stephen and Mary Tomljenovic Corak. Married to Eva Newbold in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 10, 1930. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 25, 1955.

John was active in the LDS Church, holding many positions under several bishoprics. Retired from United States Smelting, Refining and Mining Co. after 44 years, and worked as a custodian at the Midvale 2nd Ward for several years.

Survivors: daughters, Barbara Sadler and husband Thomas, Sandy; Marlene Henderson and husband J. W., San Diego, California; son, John R. and wife Leah W., Riverton; six grandsons, five granddaughters, four great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters; sisters, Madeline Burgess, California; Matilda Done, Salt Lake City.
