Miss Phyllis Skaronea, 55, 1521 N. LaSalle St., Ottawa, died Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator. The funeral will be held Friday at St. Columba Church; with father Thomas Kelly officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 PM at Gladfelter Chapel. Miss Skaronea was born on Feb. 3 1924 to James and Louise (Vittorio) Skaronea. She was employed at C.E. Hulse Plumbing and Heating and was a member of St. Columba Church. She is survived by a brother, Tony, of Mundelein. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Paulbearers will be Dale Roe, James Skaronea, Robert Lyle, Walter Leibe, Keith Ludolph, and Leonard Beals.
