My grandmother, Paula White Beam, told me of the sad deaths of her grandparents and uncle, William & Mollie White and Henry White. She remembered that Grandpa William and Uncle Henry had purchased some cows in another county and drove them home on horseback in a driving, cold rain. Both William and Henry caught a terrible cold which likely turned to pneumonia. Grandmother told me that they died on the same day, Feb 11, 1915. (Note: SS death index shows a Henry T. White dying on Jan 7, 1915). Grandmaw Mollie attended the funerals of her husband and son on Feb 14, 1915. When she returned home from the funerals that day, she sat in her favorite chair and died. They are all three buried in the Ranburne Baptist Church Cemetery.
