COUNTY WOMAN'S RITES MONDAY

Mrs. Elen Hendrickson Succumbs at Marietta

In failing health for five years and in a serious condition for seven weeks, Mrs. Elen Arzelia Hendrickson, 87, resident of Marietta for 12 years, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Orpha Hammond in Marietta at 3:30 this morning.
A native of Clifty in Bartholomew county, Mrs. Hendrickson had spent most of her life in Shelby county and this city. She was born October 4, 1868, the daughter of Napoleon and Nancy (Cole) Hamilton. On August 7, 1884, she was married to Benjamin Hendrickson, who survives with five daughters. With Mrs. Hammond the daughters are Mrs. grace Applegate, this city; Mrs. Lenora Cowins, Connersville; Mrs. Nellie Ensminger, Marietta, and Mrs. Genevieve Turner of Edinburg. Three sons preceded in death. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be held at the Ewing Mortuary Monday, with Revs. C. M. Hager and M. Katayama officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
