Anne (Noga) Burrows, 87, of Clarksfield, died Thursday night at the home of her daughter in Clarksfield.
She was born Aug. 25, 1913 in Toledo and lived in the Clarksfield area for 54 years moving there from Elyria.
She was a graduate of Elyria High School and worked for C.E. Ward Co. in New London, which made caps and gowns for graduates for 28 years retiring in 1975 as a tassel maker.
She enjoyed working with her husband in his movie businesses. They once were owners of the former Karolyn Theater in New London.
She attended Clarksfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Thomas Webber, of Clarksfield; a son, Thomas S. Burrows, of Wakeman; a sister, Helen Read, of Elyria; a brother, Charles Noga, of Elyria; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling F. Burrows, whom she married in 1934 and died in 1995; her parents, Charles and Helen (Banik) Noga; a sister, Mary Noga; and brothers, Frank and Joseph Noga.
There will be no visitation and services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by the Gerber-Morman Funeral Home, Wakeman.
