Survivors of the immediate family include daughter and son-in-law, Dareda and Kelly Wolfe of York; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Skeeter Dvorak of Loup City, Randall and Mickey Dvorak of Marquette and Terence and Ila Dvorak of Grand Island; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Darlene grew up in Cedar Rapids and attended school there. She married Edwin Duain Dvorak on June 2, 1949, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She and her husband lived in California for a time before moving back to Nebraska and living in Marquette. Darlene was a housewife and stay-at-home mother until her kids were grown. She worked for Larson Nursing Home in Aurora for eight years.
Darlene enjoyed working outside in her yard planting flowers, growing vegetables and watching all the different birds that would fly up to the feeders. In the evenings, she would sit out back and enjoy her moonflowers.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patricia Taden and Ruth Gross; and a brother, Earl Bennett Jr.
