Robert E. "Bobby" Oxley
SCOTT DEPOT - Robert E. "Bobby" Oxley, 53, of Scott Depot, W.Va., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.
He was a lifelong resident of the Hurricane, W.Va., area and retired from Union Carbide. Bobby was API certified.
He is survived by his wife, Jill; daughter, Jasmine Oxley, at home; son, Casey Oxley, at home; mother, Virginia Oxley of Hurricane; sister, Carolyn Sue Moore of Ebony, Va.; brother, Rodney Oxley of Hurricane; several nieces, nephews and pets.
He was the son of the late Emery Edward "Shorty" Oxley.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, at Allen Funeral Home with Father William Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery near Hurricane.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane.
