Dorris Bennett, age 18, of Elkhart, died July 2, 1941 at Palestine Sanitarium as the result of an automobile accident in Elkhart on July 1. Dorris and her twin sister, Doris, were born Oct. 6, 1922 in Anderson County to William Robert Bennett and Iciphenia Irene Kennedy Bennett. She was survived by her mother; sisters, Doris, Junie, Adelle, and Lula; and brothers, Elwin, Eldridge, and Odell. She was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, W.T., and Fagan.
