Chester's wife, Martha is listed on the Apr 22, 1910 census as giving birth to zero children, yet two children, Harold, age 10 & Mildred, age 8 are living w/Chester & Martha Sage. Chester, Martha, Harold & Mildred can be found on the 1905 Kansas State census, all w/last name of Sage. On the June 27, 1900 census, Chester & Martha Sage are the only two in the household, having been married for 6 years. On the 1895 Kansas State census, C.R. & Martha Sage are listed w/Nina Sage, age 11. Nina was a younger sister of Maude (Sage) Jenkins. See Nina's memorial # 57359028. Maude & Nina's mother died about 1889.
