Amos F. Jenkins was the son of W.L. Jenkins and Elizabeth E. Stewart. Still have not found the correct family on the 1880 census, so I don't know if Amos had any siblings. According to the 1900 census, Amos Jenkins and both his father & mother are listed as being born in Illinois. Is that correct?

Amos Jenkins died in a train accident, perhaps in the state of Kansas. The train derailed & sunk into the river below, creating steam that scalded Amos to death. PLEASE CONTACT me if you HAVE MORE INFORMATION about this AMOS JENKINS family or this TRAIN ACCIDENT. Also see his wife's bio!
