Sidney JAMES was born to Lydia Harrison and Israel JAMES. She was the eighth of nine children. All in Ohio. They moved to Iowa in 1856. At Keokuk county, Iowa, on 10 October 1975 she married Rufus Sisler. They had 10 childrens. George and John was born in Iowa, and by 1880 they were living at Madison, IA where Trillie born 1880 and my grandmother Lydia born 23 June 1881. Lida and Marion was born in Cole county, MO. Ethel and Lennie were born in Iowa, Harvey was born 1892 in MO, and Emit Earl was born in Indian Territory, now Oklahoma. When the WWII was threat threatening the USA, Rufus chose to take him family to Crawford county AR, to keep his sons out of the war. Sidney died in Upper Township, Crawford, AR and is buried there in the Freedom Cemetery. There was not a stone there for her when I went there in 1985. But one of her grandchildren told me that Grampa Rufus told her that he put a large stone there reading,
