OakleyForrest Marvin Oakley, 60, of Belair Road, Augusta, died Wednesday at a local infirmary after a short illness.Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Elliott Sons Chapel, the Rev. Allen B. Clarkson officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.A native of Atlanta, Mr. Oakley had lived in Augusta 40 years. He was an Elk and a veteran of World War I. He was organizer and president of Southern Lubricating Co.He was the son of the late Andrew and Exanippi Jackson Oakley, members of Georgia families.Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marguerite Hatcher Oakley of Augusta; a son, Dan Oakley of Augusta; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Dean Lanier of Augusta; a grandson, Robert Dean Jr. of Augusta; a brother, Charles Oakley of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Douglas Brown of Richmond, Va., Miss Cora Oakley of Atlanta and Miss Kate Oakley of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews....The body will be at the funeral home.
