Mrs. Hinton, a homemaker, died Friday, June 4, 1999 in Shreveport, LA. She was born in St. Helena Parish, LA., was a former resident of Springhill, LA. and resided in Minden, LA. Mrs. Hinton was preceded in death by her husband, Wimberly Osler Hinton and parents, Robert and Evelyn Methvien.
Survivors are a son, Joe Hinton and wife, Joyce of Ringgold, LA.; daughter, Sybil Kendrick Toms of Minden, LA.; two sisters, Margie Campbell and husband, Jesse of Sibley, LA. and Bernice Allen and husband, Owen of Biloxi, MS.; brother, Robert Methvien and wife, Dottie of Baton Rouge, LA.; eight grandchildren, David Kendrick, Gary Kendrick and wife, Debra all of Shreveport, LA., Joe Randall Hinton and wife, Jetta of Raleigh, NC., Tara Haskins and husband, Jeff of South Lake, TX., Miranda McWilliams of Ruston, LA., Nicole Guzman and husband, Max of Shreveport, LA.
