Albert Lee Tungate, 68, Westport, died 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 1986, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
Tungate was born Jan. 16, 1918 in Marion County, Ky., the son of Albert G. and Hattie Tungate. He married Nannie Jane Wilkerson Feb. 3, 1941.
Survivors include his wife and mother: six sons, Lee, Evert, Marvin, and Charles, all of Greensburg, william, Hope, and David, Adams; six daughters: Mrs. Charles (Wanell) Jewell, Mrs. Larry (Dorothy) Miller, Mrs. Mitchell (Mary Jane) Smith, and Betty Tungate, all of Greensburg, Mrs. Dennis (Dorene) Clarkson and Mrs. Mark (Charlene) Melton, both of North Vernon; four brothers: Mack, Phillip and Vernon, all of Kentucky, and Herbert, Franklin; two sisters: Alene McWorter, Edinburg, and Irene Sallee, of Kentucky; 26 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home in Greensburg, with the Rev. Donald Dennison officiating. Burial will be at the South Park Cemetery, Greensburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m.
