Hattie Jane Tungate, 90, died Sunday at Franklin Healthcare Center.
She was born June 3, 1897, in Marion County, Ky., to Edward and Tina (Sallee) Tungate.
She married Albert Garfield Tungate Dec. 12, 1912. He preceded her in death March 17, 1982.
A homemaker, Mrs. Tungate lived in the Edinburgh area 35 years before moving to the health-care facility in Franklin.
She was a member of Arbuckle Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ky.
A service will be at 1 p.m Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today. The Rev. Lowell Preston Sallee will officiate at the service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Survivors include two daughters, Irene Sallee, Lebanon, Ky., and Aline McWhorter, Edinburgh; four sons, Phillip Tungate, Louisville, Mack Tungate, Taylorsville, Ky., Vern Tungate, Lebanon, Ky., and Herbert Tungate, Franklin; 33 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two children, Albert Lee Tungate and Ethel Mae Tungate.
