She served as secretary for the University of Georgia Extension Service for many years, then retired as a secretary for Trailways Bus Company. She was a member of the Pink Lady Auxiliary of Burke Medical Center, a member of the Burkeland Garden Club and a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her special friends, Megan and Mallory Register.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crews; brother, James Mallard; and nephew, Jamie Mallard.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie C. McClellan (Steve) of Augusta; three sisters, Mildred Martin (Leonard) of Augusta and Margie Cochran (James) and Jeanette Click (Melvin), both of Waynesboro; two nieces, Cynthia Cochran and Leigh An Schmitz; six nephews who served as pallbearers; and her very special friends, Alan and Debbie Register and their children, Megan and Mallory.
