Graduated with the class of 1908 from U.S. Military Academy, West Point. Married Harriet B. Stafford, a daughter of Major John Stafford (retired) one of General Custer's Indian Fighters. A daughter - Polly Marie was born on 10/16/1916. He came to Fort Reno as the Commandant in June 1924. He died of a brain anuerism. He was buried in the Fort Reno Cemetary according to his wishes.
