Ruby Rhen, 68, of rural Leonard, died Tuesday, January 6 at United Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Leonard with the Rev. Paul Knutson officiating and arrangements with the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
Mrs. Rhen was born October 16, 1918, at Leonard, the daughter of Andrew and Annie Anderson. She lived most of her life in the Leonard area and was married to George Rhen March 25, 1941, at Clearbrook. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, American Lutheran Church Women, American Legion Auxiliary- Post 619 and a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.
She is survived by her husband; three sons Russell of Clearbrook, Rick of Leonard and Gordon of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Johnson of Bemidji, and Eleanor Burgess of Jackson, Mississippi; and three brothers, Arnold Anderson of Leonard, Andrew Anderson of Silver Bay and Kenneth Anderson of Marble Falls, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
