Calvin E. Bricker 59 of Boyne City, died Sept. 1, 1966 at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 3 at the Stackus Funeral Home, Boyne City. The Rev. Michael Conklin will officiate and burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Boyne City.
Mr. Bricker was born May 10, 1927, the son of Melvin and Ruby Calkins Bricker. He has lived all his life in Northern Michigan an attended and graduated from Boyne City High School in 1945.
In August 1945, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea with the army of occupation. He earned the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Bricker was discharged in 1947.
On Nov. 4, 1948, he married the former Darlene Cremeans in Boyne City.
Mr. Bricker was a farmer and from 1958-86 he worked at the East Jordan Iron Works.
