Sharon Kay Johnson, 57, of Plano, IL, passed away on October 1, at the Fox River Pavillion in Aurora, IL after an extended illness. She was born to the late Robert and Marilyn Albright on January 27, 1943 in Aurora, IL.
She married her life long sweetheart, Harold Johnson on April 9, 1960 in Yorkville, IL. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter #1059, Sandwich, IL.
She is survived by her dear husband, Harold of Plano, IL; stepfather, Frank Martyn of Las Cruces, NM; mother-in-law, Florence Johnson of Yorkville, IL; her darling children, Lorrie Johnson of Aurora, IL, Harold (Lauri) Johnson and Michael Johnson, all of Plano, IL; one sister, Judy Newton of Plano, IL; brothers, Rick Martyn and Frank (Ellie) Martyn of San Jose, CA; her precious grandchildren, Jamie, Beth, Jill, Charlie, Star, Jay, Michael and Tara and several aunts and uncles.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Pat in 1964.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Oct. 4th at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, Sandwich, IL with Rev. David Kaul officiating. Visitation from 9 a.m. til the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Millington-Newark Cemetery, Millington, IL
