Harold W. Johnson, Jr., age 61, of Amboy, passed away on Sunday, Jan 21, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, in Peoria.
He was born on April 15, 1962, in Aurora, IL, the son of Harold and Sharon (Albright) Johnson.
Harold worked for Kraft Refrigeration in Aurora. He was a member of the Moose and was a past Jr. governor . Harold married Lauri Scerba on Sept. 27, 1998 in Sandwich, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Patrick and one sister, Lorrain.
Harold is survived by his wife; daughter and her companion; five grandchildren; one brother and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with pastor, Rocky Fritz officiating. Cremation rites will follow the service with burial of cremains at a later date at Prairie Repose Cemetery, in Amboy.
A memorial has been established.
