Lillian V. "Nana" Allen, 85, of Benton, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, April 4, 2010. She was born February 27, 1925, in Bigelow, Arkansas, to the late James and Lena Vaught. After many years of service, Lillian retired from Maybelline. She loved being outdoors, flower gardening and fishing. Lillian was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene. A loving, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Allen; and son, Richard Allen. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Kumpe; daughter-in-law, Judi Allen; brother Jim Vaught and wife Rita; three grandchildren, Chris Lenard and husband Jeff, Melissa Saban and husband Scott, and Alan Kumpe; and five great grandchildren, Jacob Lentz, Riley Lentz, Kelsey Kumpe, Stella and Will Saban and Amber Bailey.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 25799 Interstate 30, Bryant, AR 72022, with Pastor Tim Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
