Earl McCoy was born to Robert P. & Elizabeth McCoy. He was a 15 year veteran of the US Army and a Spanish-American veteran. During that campaign he was involved with the capture of Aguinaldo the Phillipine Insurrectionist. He was the First Sergeant of Company H of the 21st Infantry. Mr. McCoy retired several years ago from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the Megrew Post 1, United Stated Spanish War Veterans. He is survived by his brother Ernest L. McCoy the Lawrence Chief of Police.
