Mrs. Jessie Elizabeth Humphreys, widow of A. E. Humphreys, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in her home, 552 Madison av.
The daughter of John and Caroline Minnich, both descendants of pioneer settlers of this community, Mrs. Humphreys was a life resident of Springfield and Clark County.
She was a former student of Antioch College and a member of the Congregational Christian Church of Enon.
Survivors are one daughter, Mary, at home; three sons, E. M. and F.O., of Springfield, and J. R., of South Bend; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Private funeral services, in charge of the Richards Memorial Home, will be conducted in the residence.
