J.T. Rogers married Barbara Bower on 30 September 1941 at Graham, Texas at the home of Leroy C. Nelson, minister of the Church of Christ. Miss Dorothy Bower, was her cousin's only attendant. Mrs. Rogers attended Graham High School and Tyler Commercial College. She has been employed for several months by the Western Auto Associate Store. Mr. Rogers attended Graham High School.

J.T. Rogers, 78, of Levelland, was a member of the Baptist Church. He moved to Levelland in 1950 from Graham. J.T. Rogers was a veteran of the US Army during World War II.

Survived by his wife; one son - Jerry Rogers; three daughter - Dr. Cheryl Rogers, Connie Burns and Barbara Bush; five grandchildren.
