BYRON - Franklin Giles, 62, died Friday, April 2, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 2P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Jordan Chapel Church Cemetery with Brock Bennett officiating. Family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. -Born in Byron to the late J. T. and Tempie Mason Giles, Franklin was a retired aircraft mechanic and a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. -Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Barbara Giles of Byron; children, Johnny Giles of Byron, Mary Smith of Perry, Franklin Giles Jr. of Byron, and Cherie Giles of Roberta; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
