HALE CENTER, Dec. 9 - Mrs. Beulah Mae Flake, a resident here for 36 years, died at 11 p.m. Sunday in High Plains Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Stephens, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.
Mrs. Flake was born Oct. 13, 1887, in Rockdale, and came to Hale Center in 1926 from Collin County. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Hale Center Needle Club.
Surviving are five sons, S.A. of Hale Center, Ray of Amarillo, N.G. with the U.S. Army in Italy, J.D. of Fort Worth, and Billy of Mesa, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
