Ulicious Tyler Johnson was born on April 5, 1925, at Oxford in Butler County, Ohio, to Clarence Johnson (1885-1956) and Ethel (Reed) Johnson (1896-1983). Of their six children, Ulicious Tyler Johnson was the fifth to be born. His five siblings are here listed in the order of their birth:

(1) Elizabeth Johnson (1914-unknown) was recorded at the age 16 by the 1930 U. S. Federal Census; but no report of her death or grave location has yet been identified, perhaps because her married surname has not yet been ascertained.

During World War II, Private Ulicious Tyler Johnson, after having completed ten years of education in Oxford public schools , served from August 6, 1943, until October 1945 in the U. S. Army. After the war, Ulicious Tyler Johnson completed his junior (eleventh) year in high school and earned a living as a construction worker in Butler County, Ohio, where circa 1948, he wed Lavette K. Miller (1929-1986) unto them Ulicious and Peggy (Lavette Miller) had 5 children, 1 daughter and 4 sons. The children are listed in the order of their birth:
